Some say it is impossible to have your cake and eat it, too, but those who call The Residences at Seafire home prove they can do just that. Homeowners are able to enjoy the privacy of a luxurious residence while they live adjacent to an AAA Five Diamond resort property, Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa.

Located on Seven Mile Beach in the prestigious Cayman Islands, the living experience for owners at The Residences is second-to-none. From private gatherings on The Nest - the owner’s private rooftop lounge at the highest man-made point on Grand Cayman - to secluded beach days, we list the top five things to do when you own a condo at The Residences at Seafire.

Entertain at home

Welcome home! Once you’ve settled in your new luxury home, start your Seafire story by hosting a private house warming gathering with a few of your closest friends and family. Should you choose a two or three-bedroom residence, you have thousands of square feet for entertaining your guests.

Outfitted with Miele and Sub-Zero appliances, along with luxury kitchen accessories from Bon Vivant in Camana Bay, your residence’s kitchen is the envy of any five-star chef. Dine indoors or open up your NanaWalls® for an extended balcony, overlooking the Caribbean Sea.

For larger parties, or if you simply want to enjoy the outdoors, reserve The Nest and enjoy a delicious barbecue with friends and family or have a catered lunch for business associates while taking in the 360° view of Seven Mile Beach and the North Sound. For more formal gatherings, you can also book Seafire’s exquisite Aurea ballroom with space to accommodate as many as 500 people.

Dine at Seafire’s three restaurants

If entertaining at home is not your idea of the ideal weekend, perhaps dining at one of Seafire’s three world-class restaurants is. With a range of fresh ingredients inspired by regions such as the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Mexico, and beyond, you can choose your culinary adventure.

Serving breakfast, brunch, and dinner, Ave is Seafire’s signature restaurant where Executive Chef Massimo De Francesca serves up coastal Mediterranean inspired recipes unique to Seafire. Perched at 24 feet above sea level, Ave boasts incredible views over Seven Mile Beach to heighten your indoor or outdoor dining experience.

Avecita, Seafire’s signature dinner-only restaurant, is a gem inside the larger restaurant. Enjoy handmade cocktails at its distinctive driftwood bar or reserve a table to enjoy tapas with friends. For an inspired dining experience, book the chef’s tasting counter where Chef Remy Lefebvre serves up whimsical Spanish-inspired small plates.

Coccoloba, the most casual of Seafire’s three restaurants, offers outdoor dining steps away from the water. You can enjoy their famous “Coccolodas,” an inspired twist on the piña colada and Mexican-inspired cuisine while being serenaded by the sound of waves embracing the shore.

Enjoy a secluded beach day

After your lunch at Coccoloba, you may want to catch some sun on the expansive beach or burn some calories as you journey along Seafire’s coastal walking and cycling trails. Request a private cabana and enjoy a well-deserved cocktail or glass of champagne while admiring the turquoise coloured water.

Set sail for an adventure

If you’re feeling the urge for some action on the water, you can book a water-related activity, from jet skis to scuba gear, at Red Sail Sports – conveniently located right on the beach.

In the evening, Red Sail Sports also offers a fabulous sunset cruise, complete with cocktails and complimentary nibbles, the perfect way to take in the picturesque Cayman sunset.

If staying on land is more your speed, request a Seafire shuttle to visit Camana Bay, a lively mixed-use community where you can enjoy a movie, pick up a few fresh local veggies at the Farmers & Artisans Market, shop for luxury goods or enjoy some fresh locally-sourced cuisine at one of Camana Bay’s many restaurants.
